DCA has just confirmed a new Cultural Exchange International (CEI) partnership with The Bali Purnati Center for the Arts in Bali, Indonesia. The Center is collaborating with DCA to support up to two (2) one-month residencies in FY 2013-2014 for Los Angeles-based creative professionals as their host in Bali. Applicants should apply directly to the LA DCA using the CEI guidelines and application forms, which have been updated to include this opportunity. They can be downloaded at the DCA website (culturela.org). Field Artist Residency
The Field Artist Residency aims to alleviate the financial and logistical
burden of the 'space chase' so that artists can focus on their creative
process.
For $325 (or $275 for Field Members), Field Resident Artists Receive:

New open call December 2012
From the beginning of December, the international platform RESÒ residency program is pleased to announce the new open call for its third edition.
The six mid-term residencies will run in 2013 in Piedmont (Italy) and San Paulo (Brazil), New Delhi (India) and Cairo (Egypt).
Born in 2010 from a collaboration between the leading Piedmontes institutions for contemporary art and education, the platform RESÒ is supported and promoted by the Foundation for Modern and Contemporary Art CRT.
2013 iLAB - Application Seminars + Request for Proposals
iLAB is a residency program supporting collaborations between movement-based artists and scientists, environmentalists, urban designers/landscape architects, architects and others that integrate creative practice within different fields/disciplines.
The goals of iLAB are:
a) To invigorate and re-imagine relationships between the public and the urban environment through kinetic experience.
b) To engage artists and practitioners across the disciplines of dance, art, and the ecology of physical interrelationships such that we create and investigate innovative approaches to science, infrastructure, urbanisms, and architecture within a performative context.
The 2013 Theater/Performance Ensemble Residency call for applications is now open.
The City seeks applications from performance ensembles based in LA County to adapt or create a new outdoor performance to be presented at the Beach House in July 2013. This residency begins Monday, June 3, 2013 and concludes Friday, July 19, 2013. The application deadline is Monday, December 17, 2012 at 5:00pm. An honorarium of $5500 is available for the chosen ensemble.
