The Fondation Fiminco is launching its call for applications to transdisciplinary visual artists of any age from across the world for a residency in research, creation, and production based in Romainville (Seine-Saint-Denis), just east of Paris.

A Studio in the Woods will be offering six-week residencies which include a stipend and supply budget between September 2019 - May 2020. Adaptations Residencies invite artists to examine how climate driven adaptations - large and small, historic and contemporary, cultural and scientific - shape our future. The call is open to artists of all disciplines who have demonstrated an established dialogue with environmental and culturally related issues and a commitment to seeking and plumbing new depths.

The MacDowell Colony is a leading contemporary arts organization. Since 1907, our mission has been to create a space where inspiration happens on a daily basis. We do that by providing essential support for emerging and established artists by bringing together diverse, multidisciplinary talent to exchange ideas and pursue creative work. Artists accepted for residency receive fellowships that cover all residency costs, including use of a private studio, meals and accommodations for up to eight weeks in an ideal creative setting in rural Peterborough, New Hampshire.

HALCYON ARTS LAB FELLOWSHIP

At the intersection of art and social change, this nine-month residential fellowship is designed to provide support and resources to emerging artists working on projects which address issues of social justice, civic engagement, and community building. Arts Lab fellows strive to expand their practices and grow as leaders in their respective fields.

Adapting the well-honed methodology of the Halcyon model, Halcyon Arts Lab fosters creativity through a supportive environment of space, access, and community. The program accepts six national and international fellows as well as two Washington, DC-based artists in each cohort.

2018/2019 fellowship dates: September 9, 2019 - June 26, 2020
