The Provincetown Community Compact is initiating a new residency for a visual artist of color!! The David Bethuel Jamieson Residency includes three weeks in C-Scape Dune Shack in the Cape Cod National Seashore and a $500 fellowship:

Other residencies include two subsidized writers' weeks and weeks for the general public.

The (inter)national artistic research and residency program in Athens (Greece) is being born in 2019 and is established by the Onassis Foundation.

SSB AWAY Call for Applications
SSB AWAY retreats provide crucial time and space for artists to germinate ideas that might otherwise be marginalized during the intensity of public life and artistic production. A network of residences and workspaces offers artists the agency to take time away from their habitual surroundings, to rest and inhabit a nourishing space of creative sanctuary with solitude, access to nature, and multivalent privacy. SSB offers residencies in Abiquiu, New Mexico and Podere Malabiccia, Tuscany, Italy.

EFA STUDIO PROGRAM
A Prestigious Studio in the Center of Manhattan
Our yearly open application is due in two weeks. EFA Studio Memberships are available to emerging and established artists through a no-fee application and jury selection process. EFA Studios is a diverse and supportive community of over 100 professional artists. The Studio Program provides professional development opportunities for Members including Studio Visits, Member Exhibitions, and Open Studios. Members receive a subsidized private studio in Manhattan's Garment District for a period of two years. Renewal of membership is possible every two years through a review process.

Flux Factory and the DCLA CreateNYC Disability Forward Fund are offering an inaugural Flux Factory Accessibility Fellowship, which provides a subsidized two month residency and artwork commission opportunity to one disabled artist during the Spring of 2019.

The IEA’s Experimental Project Residency Program will support an artist with a one or two week residency, an artist stipend, travel-support, lodging, technology access, materials and technical assistance. Artists have access to a combination of emerging, contemporary and historical media arts tools and materials many unique and not ordinarily available in a studio setting.
The resident artists have 24 hour dedicated access to the IEA studio and equipment. The IEA research associate will work with the resident artist. Additional technical staff and faculty are also available for consultation.
Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for this residency you must be a New York State resident. Currently enrolled students are not eligible.

The MacDowell Colony is a leading contemporary arts organization. Since 1907,
our mission has been to create a space where inspiration happens on a daily basis. We do that by providing essential support for emerging and established artists by bringing together diverse, multidisciplinary talent to exchange ideas and pursue creative work. Artists accepted for residency receive fellowships that cover all residency costs, including use of a private studio, meals and accommodations for up to eight weeks in an ideal creative setting in rural Peterborough, New Hampshire.
