Kunstraum is a community for artists by artists, aiming to redefine the way artists and curators collaborate. Our programming seeks to explore the relationships between artists and curators by opening up our gallery space to those interested in exploring unconventional and engaging ideas and taking risks. The Institute for Electronic Arts (Alfred, NY) is excited to announce the open call deadline for our 2021 ELECTRONIC MEDIA (Time-based) Experimental Projects Residency Program.

The deadline to apply for ELECTRONIC MEDIA is March 15, 2021.

The IEA 2021 Electronic Media / Film (Time-based) Experimental Projects Residency Program

Artists have access to a combination of emerging, contemporary and historical media arts tools and materials, many are unique and not ordinarily available in a studio setting. The resident artists have 24 hour dedicated access to the IEA studio and equipment. The IEA research specialist will work with the resident artist. Additional technical staff and faculty are also available for consultation.

CEC ArtsLink announces two opportunities for US artists and curators to participate in international residencies with a focus on social and community engagement.

Lower East Side Printshop, NY, offers emerging artists FREE year-long studio residencies to develop new work and foster their artistic careers. The application deadline is March 1, 2021 for residencies that begin on April 1, 2021.

Provincetown Community Compact Dune Shack Residencies open for 2021

The Provincetown Compact Compact announces 2021 dune shack residency applications are now open. The Compact is pleased to offer residencies for C-Scape and Fowler Dune Shacks in the Cape Cod National Seashore. Residencies are available April through November for the general public (Community Residencies). Residency applications may be found at thecompact.org/dune-shacks.html. Applications close January 15, 2021. Community residencies are open to all and are selected by lottery.
