Amant is pleased to announce the annual call for applications for its Studio & Research Residency Program.

Amant’s 2022–2023 international Studio and Research Residency Program offers two iterations: fall and spring. Artists and artist duos at all stages of their careers and across a wide array of disciplines from the visual arts, literature, poetry, performance, filmmaking, and cultural theorists are encouraged to apply.

About the Residency Program

The Wendy’s Subway Residency Program supports a variety of projects at the intersection of literature, the arts, and publishing. This stipended residency provides artists, writers, independent publishers, and small-scale arts organizations with focused time to research, experiment, and develop creative projects, public programs, and publications over three months.

Residents receive a $600 stipend as well as an additional stipend of $1,000 to produce public programs and in-kind resources to develop a publication.

Sonic Acts is proud to announce the continuation of the OVEREXPOSED residency programme. With this renewed open call, we invite applications from artists and researchers working across the fields of environmental humanities with a special focus on pollution and experimental art and media.

OVEREXPOSED is part of a four-year research programme from Sonic Acts on the materiality of pollution and systemic and political issues related to the contamination of our environment.
