from around the world will meet in Montreal from November 17 to 23,
during CINARS 2008. A selection of quality creations in various

Contest in Philippines open to women filmmakers

A competition in the Philippines is open to documentaries or other
short films about, and produced by, women. Entry deadline: February
18.

This is the third edition of the International Women's Film
Festival's short film competition, organized by the University of the
Philippines Film Institute. The contest is open to Filipino or
international women, or transgender or other people who identify as
women. The theme: "Wandering Wondering Wonderful Women."

Entries must have been produced since January 1, 2007, and they must

possibilities of dance video in both artistic and cultural context.
