AMP: Artists' Meeting Place and Resource Collective

*Attention actors, painters, musicians, sculptors, dancers and all types of creative artists!*

*Join ArtCorps and use your creative talents to strengthen international development in Central America in 2009.* Through community arts projects, artists educate and inspire people to participate actively in improving the environmental, health, and social conditions in their communities. Each works for 1 or 2 years as a volunteer with a host nonprofit development organization that is an expert in its field.

*New for 2009!*

- All volunteers will receive a personal stipend of approximately
$1,000 to reduce personal costs, in addition to receiving airfare,
room and board, and medical insurance.
- Both 1-year and 2-year opportunities are available.

Gulliver Connect

A mobility programme through work placements for young and up-coming
artists, art managers and cultural operators in Europe.

The Central European Foundation (Bratislava), Kulturkontakt (Austria)
and The Felix Meritis Foundation (Amsterdam) are proud to present a
new call for application for work placements in 2008.

Thanks to a large network of cultural organisations throughout Europe
and beyond, Gulliver Connect offers hands-on work experience. It's
unique ability is to use such an extensive range of host
organisations to match the individual talents of young people. And it
enables the host organisations to find valuable working partners in
future.

The Images Festival and Charles Street Video are pleased to offer a new residency in 2008-2009 for up to five Emerging and Established artists for the creation of a new project. Artists are invited to submit a proposal for jury consideration by March 7, 2008 to create a short work that will premiere at the 2009 Images Festival.

The Art Interview - 12th International Online Artist Competition is a quarterly, international, juried exhibition of paintings, drawings and sculptures in any medium. It is open to all living artists worldwide aged 16 and up. A European gallery exhibition and a total of € 17,000 in cash may be awarded each quarter to the first, second and third place winners. First place winners receive up to € 10,000 plus a featured interview in Art Interview Online Magazine.
