The Bemis Center is accepting applications for 3 month residencies featuring
$750 monthly stipends, staff support, generously sized live/work studios and
24 hour access to facilities.
Recently ranked "[one of the] Top 10 Residency Programs Around the Globe" by
Artinfo, the Bemis Center makes every effort to support artists in their
practice. From the beginning, the art-making process has been the highest
priority at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, where both the
atmosphere and environment offer ideal situations for creative growth and
experimentation. Artists from around the world come to the Bemis Center to
work in this supportive community and confront new challenges.

Welcome to one of the largest, liveliest and most international creative residency programs in Scandinavia.
The American Academy in Rome is the oldest American overseas center for independent study and advanced research in the arts and the humanities.
For one hundred years the Academy's eleven acre center in Rome has provided an inspiring environment for those who practice the fine and liberal arts.
The Rome Prize is awarded annually to about thirty candidates, each selected by a jury of distinguished peers through a national competition.
The winners are invited to Rome to pursue their work for periods ranging from six months to two years. They are provided with stipends, residential accommodation, meals, private studies or studios, and most important, an atmosphere conducive to intellectual and artistic freedom, interdisciplinary exchange, and innovation.

FLARE (France Los Angeles Residency Exchange) fellowship grant of between $6,000 - $9,000 to conduct a two month residency in France is postponing its residency in Paris to early 2014. Brand new guidelines have been released and a new application period runs until September 2, 2013 for emerger or midcareer visual artists, architects and/or designers based in Greater Los Angeles.
The applications are due Sept 2, 2013 for residency taking place from January 3, 2014 , to February 27, 2014. For more information regarding eligibility and application instructions, please click here.
