The Provincetown Community Compact announces that applications are available
for the public for residencies in the Fowler and C-Scape Dune Shacks in the
Cape Cod National Seashore. There are also special residencies for visual
artists (one includes a $500 fellowship) and writers. Deadline is January

Wassaic Artist Residency is now accepting applications for their Summer
Residency. The summer season runs from May 2nd, 2014 - Oct 30th, 2015.
Artists receive an adaptable, raw studio space in Luther Barn and living
accommodations. Artists also have access to workshop facilities, including a
full wood shop and screen printing shop, and working outside.
Additionally, we are accepting applications for two new residencies:
A 2 Week Family Residency in May and two 3 - 4 month fully funded Education
Fellowships.

The Penny W. Stamps School of Art & Design at the University of Michigan is now accepting applications from both emerging and established artists/designers for the 2015–2016 Roman J. Witt Artist-in-Residence program. Awarding one residency per academic year, the program offers visiting artists/designers the opportunity to work at the school to develop a new work in collaboration with students and faculty.

The Camargo Foundation, located in Cassis, France and founded by artist and philanthropist Jerome Hill, is a residential center offering programming in the humanities and the arts. It offers time and space in a contemplative environment to think, create, and connect. The Foundation encourages the visionary work of scholars, artists, and leading thinkers in the arts and humanities.

The Lower East Side Printshop, NY offers emerging artists with FREE year-long studio residencies to develop new work and foster their artistic careers. The application deadline is September 1, 2014 for residencies that begin on October 1, 2014. Printmaking facilities are available for intaglio, relief, monoprint, waterbased silkscreen, digital processes, and other techniques that employ the tools at hand.

Keyholders work independently in the Printshop’s shared Artists’ Studio and have access to a vibrant community of peers. Artists from all disciplines are eligible to apply; printmaking skills are not required, but some familiarity with the medium is recommended. Basic instruction in printmaking and some Master Printer assistance is included in the program.

About the Residency Program

This residency program is open to artists and creative people in all categories of the arts, such as visual artists, architects, designers, writers, musicians, composers, theater artists, dancers, filmmakers, aimators, etc. Artists can apply as individuals or with their collective. The program’s mission is to provide free art studio space for talented local artists for the creation of original work, while exposing our students to a wide variety of creative practices and processes. Members of the LFCSA community are also eligible to apply.
