ETAC is a project funded by the Pyrenees–Mediterranean Euroregion since 2012. It aims to forge ongoing cooperative ties between contemporary art centres and to set up a platform for boosting audiences for contemporary art, as well as establishing a programme of residencies designed to allow artists from this Euroregion and further afield to get to know and carry out work at one of these crossborder spaces.

It is comprised of the following five art centres in the Euroregion:

EMERGING ARTIST RESIDENCY FELLOWSHIP AT SANTA FE ART INSTITUTE

DEADLINE TO APPLY IS OCTOBER 1 2015

The Harpo Foundation’s Emerging Artist Residency Fellowship at the Santa Fe Art Institute (SFAI) was established in 2013 to provide an annual opportunity to an emerging visual artist 25 years and older who needs time and space to explore ideas and start new projects. Artist Fellows will receive a one-month residency at the Santa Fe Art Institute, which includes a handsomely appointed room with private bath, a beautiful, well-lit studio space, and a $500 travel stipend.

One Fellowship is awarded annually to emerging artists who demonstrate:

• Strong artistic ability and promise

Keyholder Residency Program

Lower East Side Printshop, New York, offers FREE year-long studio residencies for emerging artists. The application deadline is September 1, 2015 for residencies starting on October 1, 2015. The Keyholder Residency includes free 24/7 access to a large shared studio with printmaking facilities, $1,000 stipend, storage space and basic supplies, exhibition opportunities, educational programming, and support services. Artists from all disciplines are eligible: printmaking skills are recommended but not required, and basic instruction in printmaking and some Master Printer assistance is available at no cost.
