Dear Friends,
I am writing to you as director of University of Central Florida Art Gallery in Orlando, FL.
I would like your help developing a new artists residency project at our gallery.
This project will annually engage up to 4 visual and/or performing artists who will work with individuals living with memory disorders and their caregivers. These visits to Orlando could last between one to two weeks, and involve workshops and an exhibition at the Gallery.
This project will be funded by a local donor.
If you can recommend any artists working with these issues, much appreciated. If you are one of these artists, please direct me to relevant online documentation, or via email attachment.
Thank you in advance,
from e-artnow

BioTopes/BioChores
The activities of mankind have generated an instability on earth that calls for the emergence of a "biospheric consciousness." "The absence of future is already here" and "the end of the world" have established themselves as a form of mythical fabulation in the contemporary imagination. How can we learn to be affected by this situation? How can we reinvent our relationship with the earthly/Earth?

Hello, I’m reaching out on behalf of the Charlotte Street Foundation in Kansas City, MO.
We’re spreading the word about an exciting curatorial residency opportunity for the fall of 2016. It’s an 18 month residency with furnished housing and utilities provided, along with a $1,000/month stipend, and a separate working budget for exhibitions and programs. Potential teaching opportunities with partnering academic institutions are an additional possibility.
After two years of successful piloting, this program continues to grow and evolve and we’d love it if you could pass the world along to individuals that you think would be interested. The application deadline is November 30th.
