ETAC is a project funded by the Pyrenees–Mediterranean Euroregion since 2012. It aims to forge ongoing cooperative ties between contemporary art centres and to set up a platform for boosting audiences for contemporary art, as well as establishing a programme of residencies designed to allow artists from this Euroregion and further afield to get to know and carry out work at one of these crossborder spaces.
It is comprised of the following five art centres in the Euroregion:

Midi-Pyrénées:
Le LAIT Art Centre, Tarn International Art Laboratory. Albi
Languedoc-Roussillon:
Montpellier City Council: La Panacée Contemporary Art Centre
Balearic Islands:
Addaya Contemporary Art Centre. Alaró, Mallorca
Call
Grants are being offered for five artists-in-residence to carry out research work, with a particular emphasis on working and creative processes. The residency will last two months and will take place in one of the network's centres.
Interested artists should send their CV, the proposed project, details of related activities designed to attract different kinds of visitors, and a methodology for documenting the creative process. Artists should also list three centres and residency spaces in order of preference.

Grant
Each artist will be awarded a 2500 EUR grant to cover allowances, research and production. In addition, a grant of up to 500 EUR (including taxes) will be given to each artist to cover travelling expenses.
Residency
Each artist will spend eight weeks at one participating space between 1 February and 27 March 2016.
During their residency, the artists should get together (28–31 March 2016) to share experiences with each other and the art centre directors, and to discuss the artistic projects they plan to carry out. (This meeting is included within the fees, allowances and travelling expenses paid).
During their residency, artists should work with the participating centres on activities linked to the project aimed at different kinds of visitors as part of their research.
At the end of their residency, artists should give a final presentation of their research to students, professionals and different audiences.
Finally, they should prepare the relevant documentation on the process for publication, as well as the actions carried out.
