The candidate will participate as part of the Bemis Center's acclaimed Artist-in-Residence Program. S/he will originate and present three exhibitions and related public programs inclusive of local and national artists.

Continuing our year long focus on Black Speculative Art, the Creative
Currents Artist Collaborative Summer Artist Residency allows literary,
visual, performance, dance and music artists and researchers 2
uninterrupted weeks in conversation with their creative muse and each
other. Come explore the Black Speculative Arts amongst the backdrop of
historic Portobelo, Panama - a place full of the magical realism that
is our shared Afro-Diasporic history.

The Embassy of Foreign Artists is a Geneva-based residency program for creators and researchers involved in artistic and cultural projects. Given Genevas global role as a city with many NGOs and international institutions, EoFA wish to offer residencies to artists working on projects involving political, social and global issues that would benefit from this unique surrounding.
Grant of USD 500
awaits all selected artists, writers, and creative persons for the international artist residency on the banks of Ganges and foothills of Himalayas, in Haridwar, India.
There are 6 themes for the 6 month period from 01 Jul to 31 Dec 2017. Most of the opportunities will be available to the selected artists, irrespective of a theme, across the 6 months. An artist can apply for any continuous 28 days, cutting across the calendar months.

BuoyRR is an annual residency and retreat for womyn founded by Bailey Nolan and Viva Soudan, located at The Peace Barn, a fifteen-acre sanctuary in Deep River, Connecticut, just three hours North of New York City. We define womyn as an identity beyond a gender binary including trans and female-identified people, all definitions are welcome to apply.

OPEN CALL - RESIDENCY PROGRAM - DEADLINE 30th APRIL
R.A.R.O is a new itinerant residency program that allows national and international artists, to develop their projects in the different studios that R.A.R.O.´s team offers around the cities of Madrid and Buenos Aires.
Each artist can work in a minimum of two artist's studios for the period of the residency, deepening in one or more techniques, according to the project that they are going to develop. With 9-16 studios to choose from, R.A.R.O residencies cover a wide range of techniques with all kind of equipments and full assistance all the time.

OPEN CALL for a 2017 SUMMER RESIDENCY at OyG, in conjunction with a SOLO EXHIBITION in September 2017
One artist will be awarded a three-month residency in a 400 sq ft. semi-private studio adjacent to Ortega y Gasset Projects gallery at The Old American Can Factory, from July 2 – September 30, 2017. The residency will culminate in a solo exhibition in September of 2017 in the main gallery space at OyG.
The exhibition will be curated by OyG Co-Directors and will include an opening reception and one programmed event (an artist talk or a closing event), and will be promoted on OyG social media outlets.

WAYFARERS SUMMER AIR DEADLINE: MARCH 15

Wayfarers is now accepting applications for our 4th annual Summer Artist in Residence Program. The program awards one artist the opportunity to develop a project / body of work in the supportive environment of Wayfarers, where 10 - 20 other working artists have studios. The selected artist is offered our 400 square foot ground floor gallery to use as a studio for 2 months (July and August 2017) and awarded unlimited access to the Wayfarers facilities, including the wood shop and silkscreen equipment. This year we are excited to be able provide the selected artist with an honorarium of $1000, a materials stipend of $1000 and up to $400 for travel expenses. The residency culminates in a solo exhibition in the gallery in September 2017.
