Flaggfabrikken – Center for Contemporary Art is offering the opportunity to undertake a one month residency for three artists in Bergen, Norway at the Christinegård Villa.

Five minutes from the downtown core, Christinegård has a fully equipped kitchen, functional fire place, large shared bathroom, multiple living rooms, large balcony and front yard. It has one of the best views in Bergen, situated atop of one of the many mountains surrounding Bergen overlooking the Norwegian Fjords.

Each year, BAXTER ST at CCNY invites emerging lens-based artists living in New York City to apply for the BAXTER ST at CCNY Workspace Residency Program. This residency offers lens-based artists much-needed workspace in New York City as well as access to the BAXTER ST at CCNY community and programs.

BENEFITS OF THE WORKSPACE RESIDENCY:

– Workspace: Workspace Residents receive three months of free access to the B&W and Color darkrooms, Digital Lab and Shooting Studio at the International Center of Photography, as well as the BAXTER ST at CCNY facilities.

– Programs: Residents receive free admission to all 2017 BAXTER ST at CCNY events and a 10% discount on classes.
