PIRATE CAMP is the first itinerant artists' camping program created to give free hospitality to a selection of young international artists during the most important contemporary art events worldwide.
ARTErra is structure is placed in Lobão da Beira, a village in PORTUGAL, near Tondela, district of Viseu is now open to receive projects from artist.
The application must contain the following elements:
- Curriculum Vitae; and Bio
- Portfolio, videos, photos , musics...;
- Description of the project to be undertaken at ARTERRA, including the project's objectives, needs and expectations of residence ,work methodologies,and all the details necessary to understand the proposal;
- Ideal dates and time for the residence;
- Complementary information (needs for meals, number of persons involved, technical requirements, work characteristics and other additional information relevant to the work process).

City of Anaheim Announces Plan for Public Art at ARTIC
The City of Anaheim is soliciting Statements of Qualification (SOQ) from artists interested in providing public art for ARTIC. The deadline for submission of SOQ's is July 1, 2011 at 4:00 pm. Artists interested in submitting an SOQ are encouraged to attend a Pre-Submittal Conference to be held at the City of Anaheim on May 18, 2011 at 1:00 pm or by joining the webcast conference. The City of Anaheim is seeking a variety of potential artwork(s) to be included in the ARTIC Project. Budgets for the proposed artworks can range from $100,000 to $900,000.

One Year Visiting Faculty Position in Design and Fabrication The Department
of Art at the Florida State University invites applications for a visiting
non-tenure track faculty position in digital media for the 2011-12 academic
year. Position will be available in August 2011. One year (nine-month)
contract responsibilities include a teaching load of three studio courses
each in the fall and spring terms and regular studio visits with the MFA
students. An MFA in Studio Art or Design or related field with strong
digital media skills. 3D prototyping and modeling and computer programming
are preferred. Foundations, 3D or Digital Media teaching experience a plus.

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its May 2011 art exhibition, "CityScapes" is now posted on their website. The theme for the Light Space & Time art exhibition is “Cityscapes”. The gallery received submissions from 13 different countries from around the world and they also received entries from 24 different states. Overall, there were 411 entries that were judged. Congratulations to the 45 artists who have been designated as this month’s winners. Due to the high volume and the quality of the entries 35 Special Recognition awards were also designated.
