Flux Factory is seeking artists and creators to participate in our 2020 exhibition Season. Each year Flux Factory hosts four group exhibitions, organized by emerging curators selected from the wide cohort of recent Flux Factory Artists-in-Residence.
Thanks in part to the DCLA Disability Forward Fund, priority will be given to disabled artists or artists whose work addresses issues of disability and accessibility.

The New York Women’s Foundation is pleased to announce that we are now accepting grant proposals for the Spring 2020 Early Investment cycle, the grant guidelines for which are attached. In this grant cycle, The Foundation is accepting proposals from organizations who have not been previously funded by The Foundation who meet the following criteria:
Are a registered 501(c)(3) or have a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor;
Are located within and operating within the five boroughs of New York City; and
Have been in existence for at least six months

The Creative Time Emerging Artist Open Call is a biennial initiative that offers early-career artists based in NYC the opportunity to create their first major socially engaged public artwork. Following the resounding success of the inaugural edition, which culminated in Risa Puno’s The Privilege of Escape, we are pleased to announce that we are now accepting proposals for your next dream public art project.

Town Hall Station public art commission

The Metro Tunnel Project is calling for experienced and world class artists to express their interest in creating a high profile public artwork for Melbourne’s new Town Hall Station. The artist will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary design teams to create a site-specific artwork that will respond to the station’s bold architecture. The new Town Hall Station will be at the civic heart of Melbourne and the artwork will form an important cultural marker for the many Melbournians who will pass through the station daily.
Lower East Side Printshop, NY, offers emerging artists FREE year-long studio residencies to develop new work and foster their artistic careers. The application deadline is March 1, 2020 for residencies that begin on April 1, 2020. Printmaking facilities are available for intaglio, relief, monotype, waterbased screenprinting, digital processes, and other techniques that employ the tools at hand.
Keyholders work independently in the Printshop’s shared Artists’ Studio and have access to a vibrant community of peers. Artists from all disciplines are eligible to apply; printmaking skills are not required, but some familiarity with the medium is recommended.
