Residency Program

Fall 2019 Call for Proposals

Dance/NYC and its program partners Gibney and Spaceworks are pleased to invite you to apply for the Disability. Dance. Artistry. Residency Program, made possible by the generous support of the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation. Dance/NYC will award residencies to up to three (3) dance artists with spinal cord injury (SCI) and/or dance ensembles working with artists with SCI. The purpose of the residency program is to expand opportunities for dancers with SCI and to advance accessibility and inclusion within the larger dance, residency, and presenting communities.

School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University is seeking a part-time lecturer to teach Advanced Performance Projects and lead a Directed Study course in Fall 2019 and teach Advanced Performance Projects in Spring 2020. Research and service are not part of this position.

Qualifications:

Candidates should have an MFA or equivalent with a minimum three years teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level in a relevant area or discipline.

The City of Vancouver Public Art Program invites artists to submit their ideas for public art projects. Artists can propose artworks in any scale, scope, and medium, including the performative and temporary. We are most interested in proposals that reflect on the complexities of place and publics, engage cultural practices, and engender critical dialogue. This is an invitation for artists to experiment and propose meaningful gestures within public space today.
