sundaymorning@ekwc is an internationally renowned ceramic work centre where visual artists, designers, architects and other creative professionals can explore the artistic possibilities of ceramics. This is realized in three ways: through the artist-in-residence program, the centre-of-excellence and the FabLab.

Artist-in-residence program

The City of Santa Monica Cultural Affairs Division announces two opportunities at the award-winning Annenberg Community Beach House at 415 Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica.

The Summer 2012 Theater Ensemble Residency offers access to the Beach House to a performance ensemble for the purpose of rehearsing and presenting a classic play or an original devised work. Although this opportunity is aimed primarily at text-based theater companies, physical theater or dance-theater companies are also invited to propose. The Residency spans five weeks of rehearsal and seven public performances over two weeks. This opportunity begins Monday, June 4, 2012 and concludes Friday, July 20, 2012. An honorarium of $3,500 is offered. Submission deadline is Friday January 6th, 2012, rec'd by 5:00pm.

We would like to inform you about our wonderful Artist Residency Program at Los Feliz Charter School For The Arts. The mission of our program is to provide a free studio space and stipend to talented artists, while offering our students exposure to a wide variety of creative minds and artistic media.

Gyeonggi Creation Center is an artist residency located in the west coast of Korea. Established in 2009, GCC aims to support artists and curators from around the world and from various fields of art for their creative work and research. With various programs and facilities alongside the studios, GCC hopes to be a dynamic platform for an experimental and progressive contemporary art.

For the 2012 Residency Studio Program, GCC will accept applications from artists of all fields including visual and performing arts, film and new media, literature, music and sound arts. Artists, curators and researchers from respective fields may also apply in our 2012 Open call.

The Bluecoat is a contemporary arts centre in a Grade 1 listed building, the oldest building in Liverpool city centre, and offers a contemporary offer of visual art, literature, live art, music, dance, cabaret and comedy. The programme is presented through exhibitions, performances, residencies, cross-art happenings, community celebrations and a related programme of participation opportunities, talks, tours, publications and workshops. Moreover it is a catalyst for Liverpool's creative and cultural life, developing and engaging artists, creatives and audiences and aims to fashion 'wow' moments; events and happenings that are desirable, connective, inspirational and transforming.

Over the years this will develop into one of the main programmes of the Cornaro Institute, but we are looking for pioneers to be the first to walk this path.
