My name is Becca and I work for a nonprofit organization called CoachArt. We provide free lessons in the arts, music and athletics to kids with chronic and life-threatening illnesses and their siblings. We look for experienced professionals and amateurs in a wide range of activities including photography, art, music, yoga, cooking, creative writing, acting, dancing and more to donate their time and instruction to our students. We pair volunteers with students one-on-one for a ten week session, once a week for approximately one hour. Our goal is to promote normalcy and personal development in kids who truly need it. If you are interested in learning more about how to volunteer with us, please contact me at Becca at coachart dot org.
