ILLUSTRATORS/ARTISTS
to create near life-size two-dimensional
head & torso's of historic figures
for installation project at the historic
Los Angeles Theatre Center (the LATC).
Some historical figures significant in
Black Theatre/history
would be great.
Figures will complement theatrical production
previewing 09.22.10 and running through the end of October
and will need to be in place on or before September 20, 2010.

Award winning children's theatre company in Pasadena seeks a musical theatre/singing instructor for our fall session, which goes from September 13th through December 11th (no classes Thanksgiving week).
Classes are Saturday mornings and Friday afternoons from 4:30 pm to 6 pm.
Must play the piano and be able to accompany singers, as well as teach basic singing technique to children ages 6 and up. Experience staging shows needed as well.
We are seeking professionals with a relevant degree and/or equivalent experience. Must have teaching experience and truly enjoy working with children ages 6 and up.

to post recordings of your environment, sound art, home made instruments and
other audio oddities. In particular, I am looking for the unique. There will be
no compensation for these submissions but hopefully some satisfaction in
sharing.
SOUND WORKS ARE PRESENTED IN THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES
ARCHIVAL RECORDINGS: Old vinyl snippets and other bits of sound history
FIELD RECORDINGS: Recordings taken from the natural environment with minimal
studio processing.
UNUSUAL INSTRUMENTS & GEAR: Recordings from unique electronic and acoustic
instruments.

February 17-19, 2011.
The Festival is made possible in part by the Pasadena Arts & Culture
Commission, City of Pasadena Cultural Affairs Division.
The highly acclaimed Festival will take place at the beautiful Pasadena
Civic Auditorium and the brand new Lineage Performing Arts Center in Old
