Salon Art Prize 2011

The Salon Art Prize 2011 is the fifth annual open submission exhibition produced by Matt Roberts Arts at our gallery on Vyner St in East London.
We will exhibit up to 100 artists and to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Salon Art Prize we will be offering a separate prize of £1000 for each exhibition category
(Painting, Sculpture and Installation (including sound) and 2-D Media).

The Film Council Of Greater Columbus is accepting entries for the 59th Columbus International Film + Video Festival. The Columbus International Film + Video Festival, the longest running film festival in the United States, is also known as the Chris Awards.
This just in- There is now a $1500 Travel Award for a filmmaker to come to the CIFVF. The filmmaker chosen will travel to the festival and perform the final adjudication for the 2011 Greater Columbus Arts Council Media Fellowships. This award is not limited by division so all entries are in consideration for this award. And also this year, thanks to Showbiz Software, everyone who enters the CIFVF wins a prize! All of our film entrants will receive a free digital copy of The Showbiz Labor Guide.

The NEU/NOW Festival is an innovative international platform for talented graduating artists (or those who have recently graduated) – coming out of Higher Arts Education Institutions and Universities across Europe and beyond – to present themselves to a wider international audience within a professional arts context.

The Arts Council for Long Beach (Arts Council) is seeking proposals from artists and curators for temporary exhibitions and site-specific installations for The Collaborative, a visual art gallery in downtown Long Beach. This is an open call to professional artists and curators residing in the Greater Southern California region. Long Beach residents are encouraged to apply.
THE COLLABORATIVE
The mission of The Collaborative is to present exhibitions that raise awareness of emerging artists and new, innovative approaches to art. In addition, the gallery is intended to provide an urban space where groundbreaking artists have the opportunity to create new, site-specific installations.

About Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery
The HeArt Project seeks a Development and Communications Director to
lead its fundraising and marketing efforts. This position will report
to, and work closely with, the Executive Director in the following
areas:
Fundraising
- Plan and execute organizational fundraising strategy to raise
annual operating budget of $1M through foundation, corporate, government
and individual sources.
- Identify, cultivate, and develop on-going relationships with
foundations, corporations, partners, and individuals to promote and
publicize The HeArt Project's mission, secure financial support, and
expand The HeArt Project's visibility.
- Maintain fund development calendar, including timelines and
deadlines for all foundation and government grant applications, reports,
and site visits.
