Creativity, Community & Freaks

fREAK mACHINE is a monthly performance event
intended to entertain its audience. But embedded
in the format is an opportunity for theaters companies,
and other creative groups to try out new work, promote
current work and connect with other artists and audience members.

A group could bring a five minute snippet from a
show they are currently rehearsing or presenting and use
it as a kind of on-stage commercial for the show. A season
or even the philosophical mission of a company could be
promoted in the same way. A company can donate a pair
of tickets to be given away during the evening's raffle in
exchange for an onstage promotion from the host.

On the creative side a writers group or someone in the
process of workshopping a piece could bring five minutes
