In 2011 there is a special collaboration between Schmiede, Hallein (Austria) (www.schmiede.ca) and the Dakar Arts Festival, Dakar (Senegal). All interested people are specially invited to participate in the first
International Dakar Arts Festival.

At Schmiede11 (September 15-25th 2011) you will have the possibility to get more information about this
collaborative project. Due to special collaboration with other festivals the High Ministry of Culture in Senegal is supporting exhibiting artists that participate in the Dakar Arts Festival with a 50% travel grant.

Founded in 2000, Asia Art Archive is a young and dynamic organisation dedicated to documenting the recent history of contemporary Asian art within an international context.
