Explore the wide range of screenprinting techniques in this versatile medium. Silkscreen allows you to easily print hand-drawn, photographic, and digital imagery on paper, fabric, and other surfaces in a variety of colors. You will create handmade and photographic stencils and learn to use a vacuum table and exposure unit to shoot screens. Topics will include screen preparation, color separation for multi-plate prints, correct color mixing, registration, screen monoprinting, editioning, and basic methods of printing onto t-shirts.

THE 01 Video Art Review is the first edition of presentations of videos by artists – both art students and established artists – from all over the world. High Voltage is a new late night performance series of original
contemporary and experimental works in dance, theater, multi-media and
music. Each monthly edition presents works that requires minimal technical
support, and are no more then 45 minutes in length. In an effort to create
new opportunities for both emerging and established L.A. based artists,
Performances/Installations/Happenings should be minimal tech, in a “pop-up
" fashion to take place in our large street-level dance studio, in Venice.

"BIG PICTURE" RESPONSIBILITY:
The Executive Director serves as part of the leadership team
in the district and has primary responsibility for planning and
executing all programming, fundraising, marketing, public
relations, and communications in support of the Santa Clarita
Performing Arts Center at College of the Canyons (PAC). The
Executive Director is responsible for overseeing booking of
talent for COC Presents, overseeing all K-12 arts in education
projects, and developing and implementing the short and long
term goals and objectives of the Performing Arts Center. This
position reports to the Assistant Superintendent/Vice
President, Instruction and supervises personnel working in
the PAC. Performs other related duties as assigned.

The City of Brea Art Gallery is accepting submissions for the 28th Annual Made in California exhibition, juried by Meg Linton, Director of Galleries and Exhibitions at Otis College of Art and Design.
