This year's juror will be Om Navon Bleicher, owner/curator of the Bleicher Gallery in Los Angeles and the Bleicher/GoLightly Gallery in Santa Monica. Fairbanks Art and Nature Park. Graduate and undergraduate students and professionals in the fields of art, design, architecture and performing arts are encouraged to apply to customize and reside on Indy Island.

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces a call for entries for the gallery’s 2nd Annual “Seasons” online art competition for the month of November 2012. The gallery would like for all 2D artists (including photography), regardless of where they reside to apply to this competition by submitting their best interpretation of this theme. The Seasons theme will include and represent the four distinct times of the year, along with scenes and activities associated with those seasons for inclusion into the gallery’s December 2012 online art exhibition.

In this workshop, students will learn about painting cupcakes and sweets, texture and composition. The instructor is Daryl Gortner. Ages 14 and up are welcome. The 3-day workshop is on three consecutive Tuesday evenings, November 6, 13, and 20th, from 6:30pm to 9:00pm.All materials, supplies and canvas are included in the $85 fee. All skill levels are welcome; individual attention will be given to each student. The paints used for this workshop are non-toxic, water-mixable oil paints.
