The Performing Arts Center of Los Angeles County, "Music Center"
is a not-for-profit corporation organized to encourage and foster the
presentation of the arts at the Performing Arts Center complex. The
complex includes the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, the Mark Taper Forum,
the Ahmanson Theatre, and the Walt Disney Concert Hall, and is the home
for the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association, the Center Theatre Group,
the Los Angeles Opera Company, the Los Angeles Master Chorale, and
Glorya Kaufman presents Dance at the Music Center. PACLAC manages the
Performing Arts Center complex on behalf of the County of Los Angeles,
which owns the facilities, and provides arts education services to
school children throughout Southern California. PACLAC also solicits

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

A Noise Within, Southern California's Classical Theatre Company, is seeking a freelance Graphic Designer.
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for the design of A Noise Within's marketing collateral, educational supplements, and website display images, while maintaining A Noise Within's brand cohesion and high standard of design across departments and design pieces.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:
• Production, layout and design of marketing collateral and educational publications
• Website and Mobile App display design
• Design of print and online display advertising
• Design of A Noise Within's season playbills
• Researching and recommending solutions for printing and web development needs

THE KHMER ARTS ACADEMY is pleased to announce new residencyopportunities
at our Cambodia Town studio in Long Beach. Performing artists of all
disciplines areencouraged to apply for two inaugural residencies
available September throughNovember 2013. During that time,resident
artists will have access to the studio free of charge and, inexchange,
are required to:

- Provide a monthly one-hour workshop to KhmerArts Academy students
following their Saturday classes;

- Participate in a public panel midway through theprogram with
other artists in-residence;

- Share their work through an informal publicpresentation at the
end of the residency period.

Limitations to consider before applying include:

- Studio availability is Monday through Wednesday,9 AM to 7 PM,

Exceptional Children's Foundation, a growing nonprofit social service agency serving clients with developmental disabilities throughout LA County, is seeking an experienced, Ceramics Art Instructor for our Downtown Los Angeles Art Center studio. The Instructor will work one-on-one with adult students with developmental disabilities to develop their own unique artwork for sale in our downtown gallery as well as in other exhibition venues. Responsibilities also include ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our students, and helping to maintain an overall enjoyable studio for all participants. The Instructor will implement artistic, educational, and behavioral treatment plans monthly.

The Artist Outreach Project application deadline is July 31, 2013! Visual, literary, and performing artists, 55 years old and older, who live in Orange County and North San Diego County are eligible to apply. Please pass information about this opportunity on to artists who may be interested.
