AMP: Artists' Meeting Place and Resource Collective

CALL FOR VIDEO ARTISTS in SoCal
 
 
Torrance Art Museum is looking for Southern California based video artists
for our second in a series of three one night marathon screenings.  This screening will take place on Saturday,
October 12th from 6pm to 9pm.

Send a DVD or Blu-Ray of your best video work and bring your friends!! Video
work is limited to 5 minutes each, one work per artist. Work must be
received at the museum by Tuesday, October 8th.  You will receive a confirmation once the DVD
is received. With your submission send the following:
 
1) Artist Name
2) Title of the work
3) Length of the work
4) One sentence description
5) Best contact information

We will have a program with all of the Artists and guests will be able to
vote on each video. The top 3 videos as selected by the audience will get to
have their Video shown in a group show in one of TAM’s future Exhibitions in
our Dark Room Screening Room. Best of all, ALL video’s screened on October 12th,  will be considered for a museum exchange
program in Berlin taking place next year!!

We are really looking for the best of the best in video art. We will not take
music Videos, documentary film, or videos of performance Art. This is strictly
