Goddard College's low-residency MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts is now accepting applications for spring Vermont and Washington residencies. Deadlines are December 15 (Vermont) and March 11 (Washington).
Established in 1997, Goddard College's low-residency MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts is a unique program well suited for mid-career and emerging artists who are looking to deepen their practice, blend theory and practice, and study in a rigorous interdisciplinary context.

The Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art (LAAFA) is currently inviting applications for a highly motivated full-time faculty position. The qualified candidate will work with a talented team of individuals in a creative environment where they will have the opportunity to make their mark in the world of art education.
LAAFA offers BFA degree, certificate and continuing education programs in fine art as well as entertainment art. This position will begin in January 2014 for the winter quarter. The ideal candidate must possess:
- A MFA degree from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 1 year of professional teaching.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
The Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art is seeking an adjunct instructor of Theater Arts to teach an Introduction to Theater Arts course.
Candidates should feel comfortable teaching introductory concepts to non-theater visual arts majors in the following areas:
· Developing student knowledge and appreciation of theatre
· Provide an introductory overview in the areas of acting, directing, set design, costume design, lighting design, playwriting, sound design, dramatic criticism, stagecraft, and theatre history
Qualified candidates must:
· Hold a Master's Degree in the area of Theater Arts
· Have at least 2 years of teaching experience at the University/College level
· Have professional experience working in the theater arts industry
