Join the São Paulo International Art Fair as it celebrates its ten-year anniversary edition! Galleries interested in participating can access the online application at www.sp-arte.com/application. The Fair will take place April 3–6, with a VIP/Professional preview being held on April 2, 2014.

In 2013, SP-Arte experienced a historic edition, establishing SP-Arte as one of the leading global art fairs in the world. 122 galleries participated in the Fair and over 22,000 collectors, curators, artists, and art professionals visited the Pavilion to experience vast Modern and Contemporary artwork available by both Brazilian and International artists.

Assistant Director, INVISIBLE CITIES

The Industry is looking for an Assistant Director for INVISIBLE CITIES, a site-specific production at Union Station, opening October 19, 2013. The Assistant Director would be required at all evening rehearsals from Sept. 30 until opening night, including seven rehearsals at Union Station. The Assistant Director would be working closely with director Yuval Sharon on the production. Reading music is a requirement. An honorarium will be offered. The American Academy in Rome is the oldest American overseas center for independent study and advanced research in the arts and the humanities.
For one hundred years the Academy's eleven acre center in Rome has provided an inspiring environment for those who practice the fine and liberal arts.

The Rome Prize is awarded annually to about thirty candidates, each selected by a jury of distinguished peers through a national competition.
The winners are invited to Rome to pursue their work for periods ranging from six months to two years. They are provided with stipends, residential accommodation, meals, private studies or studios, and most important, an atmosphere conducive to intellectual and artistic freedom, interdisciplinary exchange, and innovation.

Torrance Art Museum looking for Video Artists

Torrance Art Museum is looking for Southern California based Video Artists for a one night marathon screening on Saturday, September 14th from 6pm to 9pm.

Bring a DVD or Blu-Ray of your best Video Work and bring your friends!! Video work is limited to 5 minutes each, one work per artist. If you plan to bring work RSVP to LDeSmidt@TorranceCA.Gov, spots are limited so RSVP ASAP!!

At the end of the screening we will take a vote. The video with the most votes will get to have their Video in one of Torrance Art Museum's future Exhibitions in our Dark Room Screening Room. Best of all, video's screened on September 14th, will be considered for a museum exchange program with FRIEIS Museum in Berlin taking place next year!!

Center Theatre Group's fall 2013 internship applications are now

We are offering twelve undergraduate internships and two graduate-level
internships; all are paid or for-credit. All require an application,

Calling all artists - Nominations now open for SIJCC's Culture Lab!

The nominating process is now open for Silverlake Independent JCCs newest program, Culture Lab.

Drawing from Los Angeles' rich and diverse artist population, Culture Lab unites five artists (nominated by their peers) from different disciplines to collaborate on the creation of new work inspired by a Jewish theme.

Artists are provided a stunning studio space in Downtown Los Angeles, a working stipend and resources to create their dynamic new piece. Based on the backgrounds and interests of the artists, the SIJCC will connect the Lab with Jewish scholars and experts in collaborative process to enrich their creative experience.
