PASADENA ARTWALK CALL TO ARTISTS
The 7th Annual Pasadena ARTWalk is accepting artists submissions.
PASADENA, CA - The Pasadena Playhouse District
Association is inviting artists to submit artwork for the 7th Annual
Pasadena ARTWalk. This year's Pasadena ARTWalk will take place on Saturday,
October 13, 2012 from 11 am until 5 pm at El Molino Ave. between
Colorado and Green St.
All artists
are welcome to apply to exhibit in the Pasadena ARTWalk. Artists
submitting work must fall in one of the following categories:
* Drawing
* Mixed media
* New media
* Painting
* Photography
* Sculpture

SummerSounds is the Los Angeles Philharmonic's world music concert series for small children, now in its 43rd season at the Hollywood Bowl. Performances are Monday - Friday, July 9th - August 17th at 10am and 11:15am.
The LA Phil seeks a Warm-up person and musical integrator for the concert series. The ideal musician/actor is energetic, joyful, a skilled improviser and musician, and comfortable with small children. The character's tasks are threefold:
1. Set the environment. This includes creating live music as the audience enters, warming up the crowd, establishing the rules of the theater, and emphasizing that everyone will have a great time.
The 6th Annual Leimert Park Book Fair takes place on Saturday, June 30th in Leimert Park, CA! We are seeking exciting storytellers and literary-oriented performers for the Children's Village. Performances can be dance, music, puppetry, magic, etc. as long as it promotes literacy.

Lawndale is pleased to announce the seventh year of the Lawndale Artist Studio Program. The program is part of Lawndale's ongoing commitment to support the creation of contemporary art by Gulf Coast area artists. With an emphasis on emerging practices, the program will provides three artists with non-residential studio space on the third floor of the Lawndale Art Center at 4912 Main Street in the heart of Houston's Museum District.
Since 1993, the Getty Foundation's Multicultural Undergraduate Internship program has provided full-time work opportunities to more than 2,200 undergraduates, exposing them to careers in the arts. Aiming to increase diversity in and provide support for Los Angeles-area museums and visual arts organizations, the program provides funding for internships at these organizations. The Foundation's support enables organizations to host students in full-time, paid internships for ten weeks during the summer.
Eligibility

Responsibilities:
* Oversees all administrative aspects of inventory control,
included but not limited to cataloguing incoming/outgoing
inventory, generating condition reports, data entry (ArtSystems
software), coordinating outgoing and incoming consignments, and
domestic as well as international shipping arrangements through FedEx.
* Image capture and management for the gallery database.
* Packing framed or unframed artwork for shipment which may
include the construction of crates and boxes.
* Coordinating and procuring supplies and services from outside
vendors.
* Exhibition preparation and installation included, but not

Rogue Artists Ensemble seeking Stage Manager and Assistant Stage Manager.
The Los Angeles art-collective Rogue Artists Ensemble is seeking a STAGE MANAGER and ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGER for the re-mount of their project D is for Dog this summer. D is for Dog opens Friday, June 8th at the Hudson Theatre and will run for 9 weeks total, including a 3-week run as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival. Final performance on Sunday, August 5th.
