BAX/Brooklyn Arts Exchange is seeking a part-time permanent Operations Associate. (RE)VERB is an audio augmented reality ‘zine dedicated to spatially conceived creative literary projects. We publish literary/sonic artworks by writers/artists which are written specifically to be heard at determined locations and which explore the aesthetic possibilities of sonically delivered literature within the physical experiences of an environment.
We are looking for contributions from an interdisciplinary creative community within the fields of electronic literature, experimental poetry, conceptual writing, art and technology, sound art and Audio AR to consider the sensorial, psychological, infrastructural and material experience of place for aesthetic experimentation.

Calling All Artists: Announcing Details for City Artists Corps!
Today, the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs and its partners announced details for how City Artist Corps will support local artists while providing opportunities for New Yorkers to engage with cultural programming starting this summer. Announced by Mayor de Blasio and Commissioner Gonzalo Casals in May, this historic $25 million investment in artists by the city will contribute to NYC's recovery while providing critical relief for the city's artist community.

NYSCA Electronic Media/Film in Partnership with Wave Farm
For individual artists, MAAF provides support for the completion and/or public presentation of new works in all genres of sound and moving image art, including emergent technology. Grant awards assist artists in completing new work, reaching public audiences, and advance artistic exploration and public engagement in the media arts.

The 2022 HBI Artist Program provides an artist the opportunity to have a solo exhibition for 12 weeks at the Kniznick Gallery at Brandeis University. The selected artist is awarded a $2500 exhibition stipend and a $500 honorarium to produce two programs during the exhibition. In addition to the physical exhibition in the gallery, the HBI Artist exhibition will be viewable online and have an accompanying printed exhibition catalog.
