For the starting date of January 1st, 2011, Kuenstlerhaus Stuttgart is seeking for a new ARTISTIC DIRECTOR.
Since its founding in 1978, Kuenstlerhaus Stuttgart has developed into a contemporary art institution of regional and international significance which is mainly financed through the city of Stuttgart. In addition to its exhibition and event program, Kuenstlerhaus hosts technical workshops and a studio program.

A Residency at European Ceramic Work Centre in 2011
The European Ceramic Work Centre (.ekwc) in 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands, invites visual artists, designers and architects to apply for a residency in 2011 and offers plenty of opportunities for creating new ceramic art, design and architecture.
Ceramics is a medium in which new possibilities are continually being discovered. The .ekwc, directed by Mr. Ranti Tjan, is an international workshop where international artists, designers, architects and staff members explore the artistic and technical possibilities of ceramics as a medium.
You may now know of the Eco-LogicalART Gallery in the mid-city area. Our
nonprofit gallery is becoming a hub of recycled/recovered element art.
Specifically for 4 years we've been taking "dead" landfill
destined advertising vinyl, stretching it into canvasses and offering it
to artists free in exchange for exposure on the gallery exterior. To
date now with gallery shows we've sold over 45k of original art
painted on recycled vinyl.
Starting in 2007 Eco-LA secured actual billboards for the display of
original art painted on recycled billboard vinyl. To date our
"drive-by" art events, in Los Angeles and SF have been seen over
40 million times. Here is a video of that process:

We are seeking five artists for the Metro Orange Line Extension.
The Metro Orange Line Extension dedicated busway will extend four miles north from Canoga Station to the Chatsworth Metrolink Station, and will include a new bikeway and pedestrian path, landscaping, additional parking areas and public art.

Attendants will work with the LACE team to carry out the day-to-day operations of the gallery during the Spring exhibition ART AGAINST EMPIRE. Attendants will have the opportunity to interact directly with visitors and artists during gallery hours. Attendants will also attend private walkthroughs with the artists to learn about the project and be able to fully education the public on LACE's programming. This position provides a point of entry to contemporary art.
Responsibilities include:
. performing day-to-day duties, including opening/ closing gallery and tracking gallery attendance
. ensuring quality of visitors' experience through facility maintenance
. performing clerical duties, including answering phone calls and sorting mail
. assisting with general for upcoming programs
