Residency Exhibition Dates
June 20 - July 23, 2022

SHIFT: A Residency for Arts Workers supports NYC-based artists who are also arts workers. SHIFT Artists-in-Residence share a studio space at EFA Center, benefit from monthly critique sessions and visiting curator and artist talks, and produce work for an exhibition in the summer.

Applicants should hold the equivalent of full-time positions at arts organizations (or be recently laid off) and should not be concurrently enrolled in a degree-granting program. Additional guidelines and info through the link below.

BAX/Brooklyn Arts Exchange is seeking a part-time permanent Operations Associate. Ideal candidates will have office management experience and bookkeeping familiarity and enjoy working in a busy multi-faceted performing arts environment. Must be detail-oriented, a self-starter, resourceful, and have the ability to work independently and as a team player. We publish literary/sonic artworks by writers/artists which are written specifically to be heard at determined locations and which explore the aesthetic possibilities of sonically delivered literature within the physical experiences of an environment.

Today, the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs and its partners announced details for how City Artist Corps will support local artists while providing opportunities for New Yorkers to engage with cultural programming starting this summer.
