In its second round, the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) is funding cooperative media art and digital culture projects by institutions and independent initiatives in NRW with a total volume of 520,000 EUR.

Developed in cooperation with the network medienwerk.nrw and supervised by the Office medienwerk.nrw.

The Call for Projects is addressed to institutions and initiatives, alliances and collectives, places and spaces of media art & digital culture, whose cooperative projects deal artistically and culturally with contemporary technological/media change and its effects on society.

The Kunstverein in Hamburg is seeking a successor for its director Bettina Steinbrügge to start April 1, 2022. Since 2014, Steinbrügge has successfully led the Kunstverein as an internationally innovative institution for contemporary art. She has now been appointed director of the Musée d’Art Moderne Grand-Duc Jean (Mudam) in Luxembourg.

From November 29 to December 19, 2021, the Charlottenborg Foundation is accepting submissions for the Charlottenborg Spring Exhibition 2022 for the 165th time.

This year, the jury spans over both collective and individual practices, and practitioners with a significant international career as well as a proximity to art schools.
