Young filmmakers from around the world are invited to participate in a film competition that reflects on the theme "Will we meet?" Deadline to apply: May 30.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) is hosting the competition for World Refugee Day, June 20.
An event marking the occasion will screen all prize-winning films. Contestants must be under 26 years of age and their films must run between one and five minutes.
Applicants should submit their films to a UNRWA field office. THe First place prize winner will receive US$1,500. Second and Third place winners will take home US$1,000 and US$500, respectively.

Ibero-American university students who focus on audiovisual production and graphic design can submit works on gender equality to a competition. Deadline: May 28.
Contestants can register individually or in teams of five for the audiovisual category. The poster category will accept works made by up to two people; works must carry a social message.
Materials must be in Spanish or in a native Latin American language with a translation to Spanish.

Documentarians from developing countries can apply for grants through the Jan Vrijman Fund , part of the International Film Documentary Festival in Amsterdam (IDFA). Submission deadline: May 15.
In addition to receiving grants, selected documentaries may be promoted and shown at IDFA, from November 13 to 28.
Films must also be produced by a company attached or affiliated with a project or organization in the developing countries listed here.:
