Development Intern will assist the Assistant Director in the development of the LACE membership program. This position offers the opportunity to gain experience in fundraising, donor development, outreach and database management. It requires an independent and detail-oriented applicant with excellent writing and communication skills.
Responsibilities include:
. update donor and membership content on database,
. generate acknowledgement letters for members and donors,
. manage in-kind donation and vendor database,
. develop membership program materials for outreach and recruitment campaigns,
. assist Assistant Director and Gallery Supervisor in contacting in-kind donations for Auction 2010, a
major fundraising event,

LACE Design Internship
Intern will work with the LACE team to create a consistent and clear identity for LACE programs and operations. This position provides the opportunity to gain design experience and develop a professional portfolio. Intern will work directly with Assistant Director to create design templates and marketing signage for the gallery. Intern will also work with the Outreach Coordinator to develop press materials for upcoming events. This position provides hands-on experience in the administrative, creative, and operational realms of an exhibition space, and a point of entry to contemporary art.

aporee and the World Listening Project for the first World Listening
Day, on Sunday, July 18, 2010.
Radio aporee is an open project about the creation and exploration of
public space. Its creator, Udo Noll asks you for help in creating an
"audio snapshot of the world" as heard and recorded on World Listening
Day. Aporee maps uses the Google maps interface to allow anyone to
easily find their location on the map, then upload their audio via the
web or mobile phone.
