Machine Project is looking for a full-time paid intern this summer! (Thanks to the Getty Foundation’s Multicultural Undergraduate Internship Grant.) We’re looking for someone who is interested in event production for a small + feisty non-profit arts and educational space.

The internship is a full-time (40 hours/week) position, for a consecutive ten-week work period between June and August, 2010.
It is a REQUIREMENT that you’re already familiar with Machine and have attended events here in the past. You will also need a car.

PASADENA, CA - The Pasadena Playhouse District Association is inviting artists to submit artwork for the 6th Annual Pasadena ARTWalk. This year’s Pasadena ARTWalk will take place on Saturday, October 15, 2011 from 11 am until 5 pm at El Molino Ave. between Colorado and Green St.
All artists are welcome to apply to exhibit in the Pasadena ARTWalk. Artists submitting work must fall in one of the following categories:

Sculpture

Seeking COSTUMER for World Premiere Opera

Center Stage Opera (CA) > is currently seeking a STAGE
MANAGER for the world premiere production of Marie's Orchard, a gorgeous
and moving new opera by composer Philip Westin. The story is set in the
late 1800's, and the principal cast is fairly small (5 leads).

We are a low budget company and are looking for someone who has the
resources to pull costumes from an existing stock (college, etc), and/or
someone who has other low cost resources.

Performances are June 10 and 12, 2011. Rehearsals begin May 10th.
