JOB SUMMARY
The Communications and Public Relations Coordinator will report to the
Executive Director and create and disseminate marketing and public relations
materials via printed materials, the museum website, and social networks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Design and coordinate the production of all electronic and printed
marketing collateral using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
* Design, edit, and maintain content on CAFAM website using Adobe
Dreamweaver
* Assemble, organize, and archive photos for the museum¹s use
* Write, design and distribute press releases, maintaining up to date press

JOB SUMMARY
The Development Associate will report to the Executive Director and work
collaboratively to meet CAFAM¹s annual fundraising and membership goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The position is a member of the front-line staff and reports to the
Development & Marketing Associate. S/he is the initial point of contact for
museum visitors and is responsible for: staffing the admissions desk;
overseeing visitor services, and admissions and volunteers; managing donor
and member data entry; coordinating membership and gift acknowledgement and
appeals; preparing mailing lists; managing social media platforms; and
Venice Arts mission is to ignite youths’ imagination, mentor their
creativity, and expand their sense of
possibility through high quality, accessible media-based arts education
programs. Venice Arts also
serves as a catalyst for people of all ages, living in low-income or
underrepresented communities, to
create and share personal and community stories through photography, film,
and multi-media.

At the Museum of Applied Art we are currently looking for a
Director (m/f) to take up the position from March 1, 2012.
Environmental Charter Schools is seeking a handwork/arts class teacher for 6th and 7th grades. Position is 14 hours per week (Tuesday & Thursday or Wednesday & Friday). Instructor needs experience teaching upper elementary or middle school students, the ability to manage a classroom of 25-30 students and knowledge of the practical arts. This course supports our study of 6-7th grade academic standards (history, science, language arts, and math) through handwork and art. Sample activities might include papyrus-making to support the study of Ancient Egypt, illuminating manuscripts for a European middle ages unit, or drawing circles free hand and with homemade protractors to support a geometry unit. Curriculum is to be developed in collaboration with our staff.
