The Buena Park Youth Theatre is seeking a DIRECTOR, VOCAL DIRECTOR and CHOREOGRAPHER for its upcoming fall production of SEUSSICAL THE MUSICAL.
Audition dates will be September 7 & 8 with rehearsals beginning September 14 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (4pm – 6pm) and Saturdays (10am – 4pm). Rehearsals take place at the Ehlers Community Recreation Center in Buena Park. Tech is projected to begin in early November with show dates of November 8-10 & 15-17, 2013. Performances are held at the Buena Park High School Performing Arts Complex.
The Director, Vocal Director and Choreographer are paid positions independently contracted through the city of Buena Park. The Creative Team is expected to attend all shows.
About the Musical:
The Los Angeles Dance Company is looking for one male dancer 5'8 or
taller with very strong classical ballet training & experienced
performer & partner, but also versatile to dance more contemporary
works & a flair of ballroom style as well. Please send resume, head

What We Are Seeking:
P.S. ARTS is currently accepting resumes from experienced, Music, Theater, and Visual Arts Teaching Artists for substitute teaching and/or short-term residencies.
Responsibilities:
Develop a sequential, standards-based curriculum in the arts
Teach an arts discipline across multiple grade levels for an entire school year
Address the learning needs of diverse student populations
Identify and plan cross curriculum connections in and across multiple subject areas
Submit documentation of teaching practice, including curriculum and lesson plans
Represent P.S. ARTS amongst multiple school community stakeholders, including classroom teachers, parents, administration, and donors
Apply knowledge and skills through ongoing professional development into teaching practice
