JOB: Op Mgr New Arts/Education Building in Santa Monica

New Roads School, a K-12 independent school in Santa Monica, is seeking an
Operations Manager for the new Capshaw-Spielberg Center for Arts &
Educational Justice, which houses the Ann and Jerry Moss Theater, a
344-seat state-of-the-art theater, and the Leadership Center, a 2,000
square foot community forum.

This pivotal position needs knowledge and skill in several areas including:
(1) office management and communication; (2) facilities maintenance and
oversight; (3) scheduling; (4) technical theater; and (5) administration of
performance contracts. This position will report to the Business Office
and will operate as “control central” of the building, with direct
communication and personal interaction with New Roads Administrative staff,

OPEN call: Résidence Croisée Antwerpen / Clermont - Ferrand

Artistes en Résidence (Clermont-Ferraud) and AIR Antwerpen are presenting a new residency project for a double residency of four months to both a Belgian and a French visual artist. The two selected artists will be accommodated with a studio and offered a monthly budget of 600 euro, reimbursement of travel costs and the possibility to have a public presentation.

The Belgian artist will receive a one month residency at AIR Antwerpen (December '13) and a stay of three months at Artistes an Résidence (January - March '14). The French artist will stay at AIR Antwerpen for three months (October - December '13) and one month in Artistes en Résidence (January '14). Both residency periods overlap one month, so the artists can meet each other in their own socio – cultural context.
