If you have made performance-based work this year (really of any kind! the marginal, the shattering! the secret! the proverbial! the bizarre! the hypothetical!), please consider documenting your work in Index Vol. 4, published and distributed by the venerable Ugly Duckling Presse of Brooklyn, NY.
Submission is free and though it is usually financially impossible to offer a free contributor copy, we offer a super discount on copies of the book. It is an inclusive, massive volume and is not curated. The book is sold in awesome books stores around the world. The place to go to submit is: www.emergencyindex.com. The deadline is January 5th.

Tribute to the Disappeared, NYC.
We invite all artists to participate in "Tribute to the Disappeared" and art project in homage to the men and women disappeared in Mexico and around the globe. We are gathering images for a Virtual Quilt and art exhibition.
Just as the Aids Memorial Quilt brought attention to the AIDS epidemic, we hope to bring public attention to another epidemic-the loss of innocent lives lost to the drug war, poverty, and migration.
Art and literary works welcome! Artists keep copyright and original art. More info: https://www.facebook.com/tributetothedisappeared
