* Draft, edit or cut down basic marketing copy
* Submit creative briefs to Graphic Designer to attain print/design media
* Closely proofread materials and fact check when necessary
* Coordinate and traffic marketing assets such as print ads, online ads, handbills and email blasts for approvals
* Liaise with marketing partners to deliver promotional materials by required deadlines
* Work with community partners to coordinate and create cross-promotions for events and programs
* Compile detailed records of marketing placements, impressions and values for event wrap reports

EXTENDED SUBMISSION DEADLINE FOR LAWTF'S 2014 FESTIVAL

Due to significant last minute requests, LAWTF has expanded and extended its submissions to include original works from both male and female solo artists. Performers may represent disciplines that include actors, performance artists, dancers, comedians, storytellers, singers, and performance poets from throughout the world.

Send LAWTF your DVD depicting the exact program under consideration for the Festival (cued to 10 minute viewing segment of your entire piece). Your submission must be clear and audible for viewing. Please do not send audition tapes with only a collage of your performances. We must see a real time excerpt of your work. Up to 30 minutes of solo works may be performed in the Festival.

Film Independent seeks temporary Artist Development Coordinator from approximately 10.21.2013 through 5.8.2014. The position will require full-time hours (40hrs/week) from mid-November through mid-March, otherwise part-time (20hrs/week). The Artist Development Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Artist Development Department in the administration and management of the Filmmaker Labs, Grants and Awards Program, and the Fox Writers Intensive, as well as other ongoing departmental projects and programs.
