Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its April 2015 art exhibition “CityScapes” is now posted on their website and is ready to be viewed online. 2D and 3D Artists (Including Photography) were asked for their interpretation of the “CityScapes” theme by submitting their best representational or abstract art by depicting cities, towns, urban scenes and any related metropolitan subjects.

The gallery received submissions from 17 different countries from around the world and they also received entries from 31 different states. Overall, the gallery received 676 entries that were judged for this art competition.

Photographers and photography instructors can apply for this free program in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The Goethe-Institut in Johannesburg, in collaboration with the Market Photo Workshop, is organizing photo training courses and a curriculum development meeting on photography training, as part of the project Centers of Learning for Photography in Africa (CLPA).

The Training of Trainers of Photography will take place May 25 to 29, followed by the Curriculum Development Meeting, a photography training photography for advanced educators on June 1 and 2.

The program is open to candidates from all over the African continent. Participants will receive an all-expense paid trip to attend the training.

The deadline to apply is April 6.

Published and unpublished writers ages 16 and older can compete.

The Bristol Short Story Prize, founded by the editors of the quarterly cultural magazine Bristol Review, seeks entries for its 2015 competition.

Stories must be not exceed 4,000 words. Entries should be in English, but authors can be from anywhere in the world.

The first, second and third place winners will receive GBP1,000, GBP700 and GBP400, respectively, in addition to Waterstone's gift cards.

The deadline is April 30. There is a GBP8 fee for each entry.
