Initiated by the Bureau des arts plastiques with the support of the French Ministry of Culture and the Institut français, PERSPEKTIVE has for five years now been supporting exchange and dialogue between France and Germany in the fields of art and architecture.

In today’s world, it’s critical that visual arts managers understand all aspects of an organization’s operations – that includes developing programs and budgeting as well as technology to creating strategic partnerships. That’s why I’m so proud to be supporting the Catherine Hannah Behrend Fellowship for Rising Female Leaders in Visual Arts Management. As a board member of 92nd Street Y, I believe that 92Y is the perfect ‘learning lab’ for arts management and has so much to offer rising talent. I’m thrilled to be able to make it possible to share some of the tremendous expertise at 92Y to strengthen the next generation of arts leaders.

Our world is in flux. People are being forced to move due to war and poverty; others are compelled to travel inwards in search of deeper meaning. “Journeys” is a creative forum where we can share our stories, visions and sounds about what has moved us to travel.

The MacDowell Colony is a leading contemporary arts organization. Since 1907,

our mission has been to create a space where inspiration happens on a daily basis. We do that by providing essential support for emerging and established artists by bringing together diverse, multidisciplinary talent to exchange ideas and pursue creative work. Artists accepted for residency receive fellowships that cover all residency costs, including use of a private studio, meals and accommodations for up to eight weeks in an ideal creative setting in rural Peterborough, New Hampshire.
