ACE GALLERY, an internationally recognized art gallery specializing in art
form the 1960's to the present, seeks a highly qualified professional to
assume the position of Senior Preparator. Applicants that are interested in a
long-term career opportunity should apply.
This position will be responsible for:
o Management and coordination of installations and de-installations with
gallery Director
o Responsible for handling, crating (including building crates), packing,
and transportation of artwork
o Liaison with transportation companies, hardware and other
manufacturers for components of artwork

The Blank Theatre Company Young Playwrights COMPETITION & FESTIVAL
is the premiere nationwide forum dedicated to developing and producing plays and musicals by playwrights 19 years of age and younger.
Since 1993 we have developed and produced 208 plays and musicals by playwrights as young as 13 years old!
How does the COMPETITION Work?
Venice Arts seeks a full-time Director of Programs, who will be
responsible both for managing and developing existing programs, as well
as working on new initiatives. Working under the supervision of the
Executive Director, the Director of Programs primary responsibilities
are to:
1. Manage And Develop The ArtPartner Program2. Manage Documentary
Projects (locally and outside the region)3. Develop Educational Assets
And Training4. Teach (limited in initial year to acquaint with
model/philosophy) Qualifications: The ideal candidate must be an
experienced educator with a personal practice as a photographer,
filmmaker, or multi-media artist; a background in documentary work or
journalism, strongly preferred, as is familiarity with the field of
The Mixed Roots Festival is looking for stories that concern the Mixed
experience. Submit your film, writing (fiction, memoir, poetry), craft
workshops (writing, filmmaking, storytelling), or LIVE performance
piece. You may find your work featured at the 2011 Mixed Roots Film &
Literary Festival. We're looking for submissions in Film, Writing and
Performance that celebrate and nurture storytelling of the Mixed
experience: interracial/ cultural relationships, transracial/ cultural
adoptions and anyone who identifies with having Mixed, Hapa, Biracial
or Multiracial heritage.
THE LATE DEADLINE for submissions is March 20.
This years fest occurs on June 11-12, 2011 at the Japanese American
National Museum in Los Angeles.
