BAWAG P.S.K. Contemporary is a space for contemporary art and its concerns. Building on a nearly forty-year history of exhibitions, BAWAG P.S.K. Contemporary will expand its focus and address those questions about the future that confront art, design, architecture and urbanism in a similar way as they do science, politics and social theory. Rotating Public Art Exhibition Program, Phase II
Request for Proposals

The City of Pasadena is seeking proposals from artists, artist teams and galleries for the selection and commission of artworks for Phase II of the Rotating Public Art Exhibition Program. Selected sculptures will be installed for 24 months at eight highly-visible locations within the City. Two of the six loaned artworks may reflect sustainability, water, conservation, electrical, or recycling themes.

CCI ANNOUNCES NEW ARC GRANT PROGRAM
Focus on First-time Grantees
Deadline: April 29, 2013

CCI is pleased to announce the extension of the ARC program for a final five
rounds of funding in 2013 and 2014, to support individual artists in Los
Angeles who have not previously received an ARC grant.

Since being launched by The Durfee Foundation in 2000, the ARC program has
funded a total of 570 artists working in all disciplines. Because we know
that ARC grants have played a critical role in helping so many artists to
get their work out to the public, Durfee and CCI have determined that the
final five rounds of ARC will be focused on artists who have not yet
received an ARC grant.

ARC grants provide rapid, short-term assistance to individual artists

Diavolo Dance Theatre is premiering our newest creation Fluid Infinities at the Hollywood Bowl Sept 5, 2013, through a unique collaboration with the Los Angeles Philharmonic. We are in search of an accomplished costume designer to work with the Artistic Director Jacques Heim to design and create the costumes for the final section of a 3 part commission. The first two installments of Diavolo's collaboration with the LA Phil, Foreign Bodies and Fearful Symmetries, the original inspiration came from a cube and culminates on a clear stage with the dancers looking into the future. Fluid Infinities, the final installment in this Trilogy, represents the future they are looking into.

CONSULTING OPPORTUNITY – COMMUNITY LIAISON, FORD THEATRES

COMMUNITY LIAISON
The Ford Theatre Foundation seeks dynamic arts professionals to serve as part-time Community Liaisons with extensive knowledge of and connections within one or more cultural communities of Los Angeles County to join its Community Bridges team. These cultural communities include but are not exclusive to African, African American, Asian Pacific Islander, Latino and South American. Serving as an ambassador of the Ford, the Community Liaison will utilize his/her community relationships to strategize and implement best methods to increase participation from those communities in Ford programming.

BOX OFFICE / ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT STAFF (Seasonal - Part time)

The Ford Amphitheatre seeks self-motivated, service-oriented Box Office staff to provide quality patron service and perform a variety of administrative duties autonomously. This position is the first point of contact for our beautiful 1,200-seat outdoor venue in the Hollywood Hills which hosts performing arts and multicultural events from May through October.

The WorldFest 2013 Earth Day Festival will be held at the beautiful outdoor setting of Woodley Park in Lake Balboa, CA. We are looking for volunteers to join us for a magnificent day filled with entertainment, education and enlightenment. The combination of great music, empowering speakers, environmental, humanitarian and animal welfare non-profits, kids' activities and a delicious food court make for an earth-friendly experience that is sure to be inspiring and enjoyable for all.
