miart – International Fair of Modern and Contemporary Art, on the scene since 1995, has now reached its 18th annual edition. miart is a fair in which modern and contemporary voices establish a dialogue of ongoing exchanges and more or less explicit references; an opportunity to ponder the continuity between past and present.
Arts for LA seeks a full-time Director of Development to join our dynamic, collaborative team. This position will be one of four full-time employees at the nonprofit arts advocacy organization serving the Los Angeles County region. The Director of Development must be an expert fundraiser, knowledgeable in preparing proposals for municipal, county, state, and federal grants as well as private foundations and corporations. The successful candidate must also have a proven track record of developing and successfully implementing individual campaigns from both micro donors as well as high-level investors.
The Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA) is currently seeking a
Programming Coordinator.
*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
· Assist programmers with film tracking.
· Manage and update all programming databases.
· Assist in the promotion of the call for entries during submission
period.
· Manage submissions via Withoutabox and mailed submissions.
· Respond to all submission queries.
· Act as coordinator between programmers.
· Assist programmers with research of special programs, galas and
tributes.
· Ensure all deadlines are met and filmmakers are notified on time.
· Set up and attend all staff and program meetings, take and
distribute notes.
· Participate in weekly meetings to discuss and develop lineup for the
festival.

The Indianapolis Museum of Art is inviting artists and fashion designers to submit original, one-of-a kind-works for inclusion in Project IMA, IN:spired, a runway fashion show organized by the IMA. Submissions should be based on objects included in the IMA's exhibition, An American Legacy: Norell, Blass, Halston & Sprouse. Selected works will be featured in runway shows at 6:30 and 7:30pm, October 11, 2012, in the IMA's Tobias Theater.
