Painting/ Mixed Media Art Instructor for our Downtown Los Angeles Art Center
studio. The Instructor will work one-on-one with adult students with
developmental disabilities to develop their own unique artwork for sale in our
downtown gallery as well as in other exhibition venues. This person should know
a variety of painting techniques and other mixed-media techniques including
drawing, collage, etc. that can be adapted to create successful projects with

EXTENDED SUBMISSION DEADLINE FOR LAWTF'S 2014 FESTIVAL

Due to significant last minute requests, LAWTF has expanded and extended its submissions to include original works from both male and female solo artists. Performers may represent disciplines that include actors, performance artists, dancers, comedians, storytellers, singers, and performance poets from throughout the world.

Send LAWTF your DVD depicting the exact program under consideration for the Festival (cued to 10 minute viewing segment of your entire piece). Your submission must be clear and audible for viewing. Please do not send audition tapes with only a collage of your performances. We must see a real time excerpt of your work. Up to 30 minutes of solo works may be performed in the Festival.

Film Independent seeks temporary Artist Development Coordinator from approximately 10.21.2013 through 5.8.2014. The position will require full-time hours (40hrs/week) from mid-November through mid-March, otherwise part-time (20hrs/week). The Artist Development Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Artist Development Department in the administration and management of the Filmmaker Labs, Grants and Awards Program, and the Fox Writers Intensive, as well as other ongoing departmental projects and programs.
