WHERE: Lula Washington Dance Theatre Studio, Studio B, 3773
Crenshaw Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 9001Artistic Directors Linda Yudin and
Luiz Badaró are seeking two male dancers and 1 female dancer for the
upcoming ’09 – ’10 Season. Rehearsals begin on May 14, 2009 with
performances in July through December. Performances include the Ford
Amphitheater, Levitt Pavilion in Pasadena, Redlands Bowl, Redlands,
CA and Guadalajara, Mexico. Potential performers must be available
on Monday and Thursday evenings, Saturday and Sunday
afternoons.Dancers should have a strong modern dance technique with
experience in Afro-Brazilian, Capoeira, and/or West African or other
African diasporic dance form is recommended.Please bring photo and
resume. Audition will include warm-up, center work and repertory.
