The Intersection of Art and Relationship

Assumptions

I thought I understood
What you meant,
But I didn’t.

I thought you meant
That I didn’t know
What I was doing,
But you didn’t.

Then I reacted to
What I thought you meant,
Even though you didn’t.

You thought I was being critical,
Though I wasn’t,
And I reacted to your defensiveness,
All because I didn’t understand
What you meant.

It went downhill from there.
So much for ignorant assumptions.

Please forgive me.

Café, Distances

In Coffeehouse shadows,
Moonlight collects on faces
Of silver wear,
Reflects off my earrings
Brightens the ragged skies
Of my half-open windows,
Your eyes are miles of sun filled shoreline
Filled with invitation
To leave this grey-stained city I have become.
Cups rattle, strangers whisper
As I listen in sin,
And graze on the damp fur of rumor.
But then your voice sighs
Through my hollows
I push away from those shallows of myself,
Force my fingers across distances
To find hands that beckon
Toward Your sweet and foreign country.

My review of my Zen Creative Micro..."more bang than the ipod"

I must admit that I went to the store to pick up an ipod when the salesgirl asked me, "what do you need it to do". I hadn't thought about that, but when I told her; she suggested I check out the Micro. For the same price, I could not only download and listen to songs; but I can also record songs live and from the radio, convert files from wav to mp3 and back, and do things that a performer needs to do.

Now I don't leave home without it. I use it to record live gigs with my band, rehearsals, and sometimes auditions (I just drop it in my bag when I walk in the room). I've recorded shows I've done from the audience and the sounds come out great.

review of my Casio exilim z850

Ok, so I bought this camera because a friend had the exilim z700, and I loved the features. I wasn't quite prepared for what I got. This camera is amazing; I love it and carry it everywhere I go: to take photos of myself and with friends, to take video of funny things I see on the streets, to record rehearsals and performances and even auditions (it has a vocal recorder that records for 49 hours!!!).

There are so many uses I've found including posting quality video to the internet at [...]. Everyone I know comments on the quality of the video and the pictures come out amazing.

I'm just a layman as far as photography is concerned, but I feel like a professional when I use my exilim. It's sleek and easy to manipulate; it has a very nice size display screen; and the buttons and prompts are very easy to follow.

Philotekquinism

Welcome. Realizing that every aspect and level of life is reflected in some way through art, if it encompasses everything we can conceive, I would like to begin to develope the movement that predicts this reflection in a living capacity. This movement is based in fine arts with great attention to it's literature, philosophy, physics or which ever means to convey the operation of the art in purpose to life.

Focusing on the literature written by artists of today, to develope the ideas and concepts of a super post-modern world. Philosophical views illuminated in their artworks, visual poets with scientific concepts or writers who try to draw out their conclusions about a whole universe with so many parts.
