Limited space is still available for this summer's Institute for Educators at The Music Center. Held from August 5th-9th, this week-long professional development program focuses on arts integration strategies. Classroom teachers, arts teachers, and other educators from grades 4-12 are encouraged to attend.

The Institute will include hands-on workshops led by Music Center Master Teaching Artists in dance, music, and theatre. The Institute will also feature guest educator presentations by renowned experts in their field, including Dr. Alan Chapman of KUSC, Dr. Margaret Wertheim of the Institute for Figuring, Jeanne Hoel of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Arts Integration Specialist Dr. Desiree Friedmann, and Co-Teaching Expert Dr. Wendy Murawski of the Center for Teaching and Learning at CSUN.

Celebrating the 100th anniversary of Igor Stravinsky's "The Rite of Spring", participants will:

- Engage in transformative learning experiences with Music Center Master Teaching Artists and renowned guest educators
- Empower themselves with arts-based skills to integrate into their teaching practice and the Common Core State Standards
